TSN. Charlotte Hornets Jerseys .ca presents its latest weekly power rankings for the 2013-14 Barclays Premier League season. Rankings were weighted evenly between separate lists made by TSN Radio host and soccer analyst Gareth Wheeler as well as TSN.cas soccer editors. 1. Arsenal (Last Week-1) Mesut Ozil opened the scoring for the Gunners but they only held the lead for four minutes as they drew Everton 1-1 at Emirates Stadium. Olivier Giroud came a post away from giving the Gunners all the points. Arsenal are still top of the table, five points clear of both Liverpool and Chelsea. 2. Manchester City (LW-2) While Sergio Agueros scoring touch continued so did Citys poor road form as they were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw with Southampton. After Agueros strike in the 10th minute, City were wasteful with chance after chance to double the lead before they conceded the equalizer before the half. Aleksandar Kolarov and Aguero were the two guiltiest of not getting that second goal. 3. Liverpool (LW-4) In what was eventually ruled a two goal performance, Luis Suarez once again led Liverpool to a huge victory, 4-1 over West Ham. After scoring his teams third goal in the 81st minute, Suarez fired a ball that deflected off West Ham defender Joey OBrien and into the net. Originally credited as an own goal, the dubious goals panel decided to award the 84th minute marker as a second for Suarez bringing his season total to 15. 4. Chelsea (LW-3) Two Andre Schurrle goals were not enough as Chelsea fell 3-2 to Stoke City. After opening the scoring in the ninth minute, Schurrle pulled his team even in the 53rd, just three minutes after they had fallen behind for the first time in the contest. Chelsea pressed with the game tied and in the short time they had after falling behind, but were not able to find a third goal to leave with a point. 5. Everton (LW-5) Gerard Deulofeu scored in the 84th minute as Everton collected a well-earned point on the road against Arsenal. The Toffees are on a roll after beating Manchester United and collecting a point against the Gunners, they are fifth in the table one point behind Manchester City for fourth. 6. Newcastle United (LW-9) Yohan Cabaye scored the difference maker as Newcastle picked up a 1-0 victory over Manchester United. Tim Krul picked up the clean sheet for the Magpies, who are one point out of the European places and only two points from a spot in the coveted top four. 7. Tottenham (LW-6) After falling behind, Spurs took control of a 2-1 victory over Sunderland. With the help of an opponents own goal, Tottenham won their second straight game as Paulinho also found the mark for the North London side. Jermain Defoe hit the post twice and fired wide with another chance so the game could have been out of sight earlier. 8. Southampton (LW-8) Dani Osvaldo scored one of the goals of the season and the Saints held off a late charge to draw Manchester City 1-1. Osvaldo beat City captain Vincent Kompany and defender Pablo Zabaleta before firing a strike into the top corner of the net just before halftime. While City pressed for a go ahead marker Southampton was with them step for step and in the end got a deserved point out of the contest. 9. Manchester United (LW-7) With Wayne Rooney, who has been their best player this season suspended due to yellow card accumulation, United fell 1-0 to Newcastle to further jeopardize their title defence. The Champions lost back to back home contests for the first time since 2002. They have also picked up only two points from their last four games. 10. Swansea City (LW-10) Chico Flores scored in the 60th minute to rescue a point for Swansea at home against Hull City. After falling behind after nine minutes of play, the Swans worked their way back into the game and were rewarded with a goal and a point. They also welcomed Michu back into the lineup to hopefully add a spark to their offence going forward. 11. Hull City (LW-12) Danny Graham scored in the ninth minute but it wasnt enough as they drew Swansea 1-1. Graham, a former Swansea man, would enjoy the goal on his return but could not lead his team to the victory. In the end both teams deserved a point from this match. 12. Aston Villa (LW-11) Ten terrible minutes were enough for Villa to fall 2-0 at the hands of Fulham. Gabriel Agbonlahor wasted an early chance for Villa who were pretty even against Fulham, but for the stretch that saw them give up two goals and the game. 13. Stoke City (LW-15) Late Substitute Oussama Assaidi fired home a 90th minute winner to help Stoke City stun Chelsea 3-2. After falling behind in the ninth minute, the Potters battle back to take a 2-1 lead only to see Chelsea pull level once again. Stoke picked up their first league win against Chelsea since 1975 in a very entertaining contest. 14. West Bromwich Albion (LW-13) While the stats say West Brom should have cruised to victory, Norwich found the net twice as the Baggies fell 2-0. Stephane Sessegnon and Shane Long were both wasteful with chances to put their team on the board and in front of their home fans, extended a stretch of only one win in their last nine contests. 15. Cardiff City (LW-14) Though they looked good at times, Cardiff was not able to find a marker as they fell 2-0 to Crystal Palace. Fraizer Campbell almost put the Welsh side ahead in the opening minutes, but was not able to convert. Palace would go on to create the chances that led to the difference in the contest. 16. Norwich City (LW-16) Gary Hooper and Leroy Fer were both on target as Norwich knocked off West Brom 2-0 at The Hawthorns. The Canaries were coming off Luis Suarez masterpiece and showed a good effort to get back into the win column. John Ruddy picked up the clean sheet for Norwich. 17. West Ham United (LW-17) While the score stayed level for almost the entire first half, West Ham was never a threat in a 4-1 loss to Liverpool. A Martin Skrtel own goal accounted for their only scoring in a game where they also produced an own goal courtesy of Guy Demel. Joey OBriens own goal was eventually credited as a second for Luis Suarez. 18. Crystal Palace (LW-19) Tony Pulis led his new Crystal Palace side to a second victory, this time 2-0 over Cardiff City as they continue to fight against relegation. Cameron Jerome and Marouane Chamakh both scored for Palace, who now find themselves in the relegation zone on goal differential alone. 19. Fulham (LW-20) A Dimitar Berbatov penalty and a Steve Sidwell strike were enough to give Fulham a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa. The two goals, scored in a nine minute span, put the game out of reach for the Cottagers who need to keep collecting these points as they find themselves firmly in the relegation battle. 20. Sunderland (LW-18) Their fifth own goal of the season condemned Sunderland to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Tottenham. Adam Johnson opened the scoring for the Black Cats, who sit at the bottom of the table, but after Paulinho leveled the score, John OShea put the ball past his keeper for what would be the deciding marker. Alonzo Mourning Jersey .com) - The Oakland Athletics needed to rely on a lot of young pitchers to win an American League West title this season. Malik Monk Jersey . Simon (10-3) allowed three runs on five hits and three walks in 6 1-3 innings to break a tie with the Dodgers Zack Greinke and Cardinals Adam Wainwright for the NL lead in victories. Simon went to spring training as a relief pitcher and moved into the starting rotation when Mat Latos was recovering from elbow and knee surgeries. http://www.basketballhornetsauthority.com/larry-johnson-hornets-jersey-c-9/ . -- Washington Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo is going to the Pro Bowl as a replacement for San Francisco 49ers linebacker Ahmad Brooks.NEW YORK -- LaMarcus Aldridge struggled with his shot for much of the game, so the All-Star was confident about his last attempt. It was just time for him to make a big play. Nicolas Batum had 20 points and 10 rebounds, Wesley Matthews scored 18 points, and the Trail Blazers overcame poor-shooting nights by two of their best players in a 94-90 victory over the New York Knicks on Wednesday. Aldridge finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds while shooting just 5 of 17 from the floor, but he knocked down a turnaround jumper with 35 seconds left after the Knicks had cut Portlands lead to two. "I had the whole game to miss shots so I felt like I was due some makes," Aldridge said. "Law of averages have to catch up sooner or later. I had made one easy one, one tough one. So I felt like I was going to make it." All-Star Damian Lillard shot 4 of 12 for his 12 points, but he and Aldridge were far from the only frigid shooters on a snowy day in New York. The Trail Blazers made just 38 per cent, but the Knicks hit only 40 per cent of their attempts and were 4 of 21 from 3-point range. "I thought our defence all game was pretty good. I thought for us to win a game shooting 38 per cent, its not an easy thing to do," Portland coach Terry Stotts said. New York star Carmelo Anthony scored 26 points but was scoreless on 0-for-5 shooting in the fourth quarter, finishing 11 of 28 as the Knicks dropped their third straight. The Knicks were within one after a strong start to the fourth, then had just two baskets and five points over the next 7 minutes -- and still had a chance to pull it out. "Whenever you hold a team to 38 per cent or whatever it is that we held them to, I mean, you think youre going to win. But obviously that wasnt the case tonight," Knicks centre Tyson Chandler said. Portland, missing free throws and layups throughout the fourth, couldnt put it away even while the Knicks were making just two of their first 18 3-point attempts. J.R. Smith and Tim Hardaway Jr. then made consecutive shots from behind the arc, cutting it to 89-87 with 50 seconds left. Aldridge made a turnaround jumper 15 seconds later, and after Anthony mmissed a drive, Mo Williams made a pair of free throws to make it a six-point game. Glen Rice Jersey. Smith made three from the line after Batum fouled him behind the arc, but Lillard made one to make it 94-90, and the Knicks missed their final 3-point attempt. Anthony was frustrated throughout the night, picking up one technical foul and waving his arm in disgust toward referee Dan Crawford a few times. He appeared to be yelling toward him after the buzzer. "It was just one of them nights. Just as far as shots go, couldnt find it coming down the stretch," Anthony said. "I dont want to speak on the calls. Nothing I can do about that right now, nothing we can do about it." Smith had 18 points and Amare Stoudemire, getting the extra minutes he sought, scored 15. Portland, which has had one of the NBAs best records all season, had dropped three of four and five of its last eight games. But the Blazers did just enough to rebound from Mondays 100-90 loss at Washington, its only one in nine road games against the Eastern Conference this season. Aldridge missed 10 of his first 11 shots and the Blazers led by two before he made a short jumper over Raymond Felton while being fouled with 3:25 left in the third quarter, starting Portlands run of seven straight points that made it 70-61. The lead hit 11 in the final minute on Dorell Wrights three free throws, and it was 77-68 entering the fourth. New York ran off the first eight of the final period, pulling to 77-76 on Pablo Prigionis 3-pointer with 8:16 to play. But Williams made a 3-pointer from the corner to steady the Blazers just about the time the Knicks stalled. The Knicks were without forward Kenyon Martin, who will rest a sore left ankle for at least the next week. NOTES: Anthony was announced before the game as the Eastern Conference player of the month for January, when he averaged 28.7 points and 9.0 rebounds. ... Boxer Manny Pacquiao was at the game. ... The Knicks paid tribute to actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, a fan of the team who died Sunday. ... The Knicks played their first of three straight against the Northwest Division. They host Denver on Friday and visit Oklahoma City.
